I’ve read that this scene was cut in some countries due to being too gay, lol.
wow
Wow, Harry Kim, holding hands on the first date?? No way. You can get herpes from that. No wonder Tom was jealous.
Uhh but really, after seeing this episode, I really don’t think I have the will to go on… with the show or my life.
Perving rule #2
If you MUST ogle while she’s right beside you, don’t make it worse by licking your lips and mouthing ‘yum’.
Is there even a scene between these two where Janeway ISN’T ogling Seven? Because I don’t think there is.
06. Year of Hell (VOY 04x08) - Part 1 Part 2
This show could have been great if there were no reset button after this.
The author of this article doesn’t, but this was still hilarious to me. Also, I just found out when you google ”captain lameway”, Google asks you whether you meant Janeway, lmaooo.
Haha, I seriously don’t get the point of this article. The author spends more time admitting Voyager’s most major shortcomings than he does with any counterargument in its favor. That’s pretty tragic, lol.
It also seems that this person is pretty new to the game and maybe a little too “green” to comment on this. He admits to getting into Star Trek because of Voyager, and when someone says something like, “I’ve seen a good chunk of TOS, and almost all of The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager” I already know I’m not really going to care about what they have to say because they don’t appreciate TOS, lol. As such, his drug metaphors make no fucking sense - TOS is a crippling way of life? Wut? And Voyager is like cannabis? HAHAHA. No, it’s more like torture that requires cannabis to actually get through it. He also believes in the TOS fallacy that most non-TOS fans believe, that Roddenberry’s Star Trek was a “socialist utopia.” It wasn’t, at least not until TNG.
This article was written just this month, yet the author doesn’t even acknowledge Enterprise, which I’d say is the real final nail in the coffin. At least, it seems to me that more people blame that than Voyager for the death of Star Trek, or both rather than just Voyager. And the thing with Voyager is that most diehard trekkies do like it. A lot of times they do exactly what this author did and admit its shortcomings but still like it for whatever reason. I’d say it’s really not as universally hated as the author thinks.
